I am receiving security warnings when I try to access my cPanel area

You may receive security warnings when accessing your cPanel through:

https://domain.com:2083

This is because by using port 2083 you will access cPanel through the server hostname rather than through *.sgcpanel.com, which is the host used for the SSL certificate.

However, the connection is still secure and you can safely accept the certificate permanently. Alternatively, cPanel can be accessed using a normal connection through port 2082. For example:

http://domain.com/cpanel

will open the cPanel login page and won't display the SSL warning.
